Alyssa Mae Tumlos (she/her) is a Chicago-based Filipino-American artist who utilizes whimsical, dreamy, other worldly-visuals to transform spaces of darkness with beams of light. 

Alyssa Mae's love for visual storytelling brought her to Westmont College in Santa Barbara to complete her bachelor's degree in Studio Art. During this time, Alyssa Mae sharpened both her artistic skills alongside her critical thinking skills, leading her to pursue work that advocates for accessibility, equity, sustainability, and justice. Through image-making, Alyssa Mae seeks to deliver messages of both complex truth and unrelenting hope.

In her free time, Alyssa Mae enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, eating good food, thrifting and up-cycling, reading books, watching films, and jumping in the ocean.
